The ultimate aim of yoga is God-realisation, and the human body should be used as a bridge to reach the Divine — this was the heart of the message shared by Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) during the International Day of Yoga celebrations at Amritapuri Ashram. Amma reminded the gathering that yoga should not be regarded merely as a means to improve physical and mental health or to overcome personal difficulties. While yogic practices may appear external, they hold subtle dimensions that can guide a practitioner toward deeper levels of consciousness. "Through the practice of yoga, one should strive to make the body a bridge to reach the Divine," Amma said, urging everyone to use yoga as a path to understand and experience its profound spiritual essence. Thousands of devotees from India and abroad took part in the yoga training session held at the Ashram's Darshan Hall. CRPF personnel and police officers stationed at Amritapuri also joined the programme, which was streamed online to participants across several countries. __________________________________________ Get News Updates Visit https://amma.org For More News on Amma's Initiatives Stay Tuned To ▪️ https://fb.com/MataAmritanandamayi ▪️ https://instagram.com/MataAmritanandamayi ▪️ https://twitter.com/Amritanandamayi ▪️ https://youtube.com/amma ▪️ https://t.me/Amritanandamayi
