More than 1,200 youth from across the country participated in the Tattva Retreat organised by FOLK, a youth empowerment initiative of Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON Group, at Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, our spiritual headquarters in Sri Dham Vrindavan. A key aspiration of our institution is to inspire new generations with the glorious Vedic values and help build strong character and a meaningful worldview based on the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. In line with this objective, Tattva Retreat brought together enthusiastic youth associated with our temples for an immersive programme centred on the philosophy and practice of Krishna consciousness. As part of the retreat, the participants attended insightful sessions conducted by senior leaders of our Governing Body Council. These sessions offered them an excellent opportunity to deepen their understanding of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings and strengthen their commitment towards spiritual life. The participants also took a collective pledge in support of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, resolving to stay away from intoxicants, encourage others to lead a drug-free life, and actively spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse. They pledged to contribute towards building healthy and empowered youth and advancing the vision of Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat. We invite youngsters to join our FOLK programs and experience a blissful journey of character development and spiritual learning through meaningful association in Krishna consciousness.
